I bring extensive expertise in design, innovation, strategy, and leadership development. My approach to facilitation and curriculum design is shaped by my experiences as a practicing architect, industrial designer, and design thinker serving customers around the world.

I hold master’s degrees in Architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, and Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Additionally, I hold certifications in VUCA Leadership by Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management and Strategic Foresight by the University of Houston’s College of Technology.

As founder and director of Muchieast LLC, I partner with mission-driven organizations across sectors to leverage creative problem-solving, innovation strategy, and customer-driven insights. Some former clients include MIT Collaborative Initiatives, Humana Inc., the Prime Minister’s Office of the U.A.E., and the U.S. Department of State.

I served as Director of Design Education with The Lab at OPM (U.S. Office of Personnel Management) and a full-time faculty member with OPM’s Federal Executive Institute (FEI). At FEI, my design-thinking approach to leader development was unique among his colleagues, helping leaders problem-craft and embrace mindsets of curiosity and creativity, benefiting their agencies and the people they serve.

Previously, I was sustainable materials researcher and faculty member with the Rhode Island School of Design for more than 18 years, a visiting lecturer at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, a visiting professor at the American University of Sharjah (U.A.E.), and a design lecturer in Executive Education programs at Harvard Law School. Additionally, I am a Fellow with the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
